About TSDO
Together for Sustainable Development Organization (TSDO) is a local organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development in Rwanda. TSDO empowers vulnerable communities—especially women, youth, and persons with disabilities—through inclusive programs focused on education, health, economic empowerment, environmental protection, and civic participation.

Objectives
Promote inclusive and equitable access to quality education for all.
Improve nutrition and reduce stunting (kugwingira) among vulnerable populations.
Empower communities to fight poverty through income-generating projects and financial literacy.
Advocate for environmental protection and responsible natural resource management.
Strengthen community participation and accountability through good governance and civic engagement.
Program Priorities
Inclusive Education for All
Reintegration of school dropouts, especially adolescent girls, youth in vulnerable situations, and children with disabilities.
Literacy programs for illiterate adults, with a strong emphasis on empowering women and girls.
Advocacy for education policy reforms to support inclusive, quality education.
Nutrition program
Community awareness and training on balanced diets and food diversity.
Establishment of kitchen gardens (home vegetable plots) to improve daily nutrition.
Small livestock farming (e.g., rabbits) to increase access to protein-rich foods and income.
Focus on reducing malnutrition and stunting among children.
Poverty reduction program
Support to beneficiaries to develop small income-generating activities.
Training in financial literacy and collaboration with microfinance institutions and banks.
Encouragement of savings groups and cooperative development with women in leadership roles.
Environmental protection
Sensitization campaigns on environmental conservation and climate change adaptation.
Tree planting in new urban areas and deforested zones.
Community engagement, especially women-led green initiatives for sustainable resource use.
Good governance promotion
Community training on rights, responsibilities, and participation in public decision-making.
Promotion of citizen engagement in local development plans and national civic programs.
Strong emphasis on women's leadership and their role in governance and accountability.
